Speccy: System Information tool

Speccy is a System Information tool designed to gather information about your CPU, RAM, Motherboard, Graphics Card, Hard Drives, Optical Drives, and Audio Card and let you view advanced information about it. Speccy can tell you more detailed and advanced information about these items. The final release of Speccy was released recently, and this software is fully functional. Speccy was developed by Piriform, the same company that made CCleaner, Defraggler, and Recuva.

Speccy was designed to be a “What’s Inside?” program. One use is for users who purchased a computer who would like to upgrade but who do not know how to check specifications. Or, if you want to sell your computer, Speccy can tell you about it so you know how to advertise it. Or, say you call computer support (or me if you live where I live…) and they ask you what kind of graphics card you have, Speccy can assist you with finding this kind of information out.

Check this program out here. If your computer can run Windows, it most likely runs Speccy.

About Jesse Zylstra

Hey! My name is Jesse Zylstra, and I am the administrator of this website. I used to write about free software and programs, online web applications, and new technology -- especially open-source. Now I just write udder nonsense. I also play pipe organ, which I'm told is a fun and interesting fact about me. In the past, I studied network administration. Now I've been trying to pursue a real fake bachelors degree for the last, oh, 10 years or so.
