collection of free software. Update Checker can be installed to run at startup, or just when you want it. Along with standard updates, it will also let you know if BETA versions of software are available for you to use.

Requirements: “The Update Checker works on any Windows PC running Vista, XP, 2003, 2000, ME or 98.” but, of course, also requires an Internet Connection – since you are reading this, I am going to assume you pass.
