Google has just added (as in, last few hours) a new feature to Gmail called “Priority Inbox”. Priority Inbox automatically sorts out important messages from the not-so-important messages, allowing you to see what emails matter to you before others. Priority Inbox will improve itself based on how you “rate” emails. If you are a “change hater”, you’ll love this: It can be completely disabled, and is not enabled by default! If you don’t want to see your inbox with Priority Inbox, just click your regular inbox (“priority” items will still be marked).
After this feature was added, you should receive a prompt about Priority Inbox when you next log in. If you missed it, just check out your Gmail Settings and click the “Priority Inbox” tab.
