Okay, okay. So, lately I’ve been out of ideas and possibly posting more paid-ads then actual articles… Finally, I realized: “Hey! A great website I visit every day would make a great article!”
Anyways, to the article!
Best Online Weather Service
What are my requirements for online weather? Minimal ads (and NO popups), accurate forecast, and that they actually know where my town is. Weather Underground is a free online weather service. Although there is a premium membership available, it is not required to be able to functionally use the website. www.Wunderground.com offers weather information and weather alerts all around the world. Weather information is obtained by many different stations, including personal stations set up by individuals with the know-how and the equipment. Personally, I have found WeatherUnderground to be more accurate than Weather.com. I especially enjoy that Weather Underground does not excessively advertise toolbars with weather or any programs such as “WeatherBug” that can cause serious problems with your computer.
I visit Weather Underground on a daily basis to check out my local forecast, and also receive US Severe Weather alerts through my email.
What I do not like:
There are still ads. The cost of running such a huge website is what makes more than one ad absolutely necessary. There isn’t much you can do about it in the case of any website.
Suggest it's time for you to investigate Firefox addOns. I have no adds, on Weather Underground or elsewhere. True, ads are what makes the web-go-round. But I feel there must be SOME advantages to being a nerd.
my computer is very slow .if i use to open any file or a folder then it takes more than five minutes.
Hello Suraj!
For computer problems, I highly recommend http://www.computerhope.com and their community-run forums, http://www.computerhope.com/forum
I used to provide computer support on my own forums, but I stopped that quite a long time ago.
