July Site Updates

No outages this month!

A new segment is being introduced: each week we will show a technology related picture that has little copyright restrictions (i.e. public domain). Our first, Charles Babbage’s Difference Engine. Focus will be on images with historical significance, or any image that holds educational value.

ZylBlog is becoming increasingly popular, and we are not really sure why. Nevertheless, we’ll keep on going, trying to improve more and more. We need article suggestions. Please submit them here.

You can now “Like” a post on Facebook, tweet it, print, and share each article in literally hundreds of new ways.

We are now using BlogGlue, a service which links a blog to other blogs of similar topic. When a post that is on this website is similar to a post on one of our partner website, links will appear in the “Related Posts” area to show the other links. This generates traffic for our site, and traffic for their site.

Site usage is up 30.69% in the last 30 days.

About Jesse Zylstra

Hey! My name is Jesse Zylstra, and I am the administrator of this website. I used to write about free software and programs, online web applications, and new technology -- especially open-source. Now I just write udder nonsense. I also play pipe organ, which I'm told is a fun and interesting fact about me. In the past, I studied network administration. Now I've been trying to pursue a real fake bachelors degree for the last, oh, 10 years or so.
